$15 Amazon.com Gift Card Giveaway

We’re organizing our first giveaway! We can offer a $15 gift card from Amazon.com for now, and that’s because our budget is rather limited (we’ve only started the blog in December, after all). However, we will organize this Amazon com giveaway every month, so in case you do not win this month, you have a really good chance of being picked the winner on the following month.

Here’s what you should know:

Only people who can use Amazon.com to claim their gift card should sign up. We cannot offer other types of gift cards at this time. However, there are ways you can circumvent this, and here’s a thread on Quora that might help you.

Eligibility:

Compulsory:

1. You have to be the owner of a valid Amazon.com account. If you are not, you can’t receive the gift card!

2. Leave a comment to this post and tell us what you’d like to purchase for your furry friend if you are elected the winner of the gift card. Just leave a comment anyway, even if you do not have a pet. We need it to pick a winner.

Optional:

1. You have to love pets!

2. If you have a pet blog, we’d really appreciate it if you shared this with your community! ♥ But only if you want to.

3. You could sign up for our newsletter (if you want to) –> you can do so in the sidebar (Subscribe to blog via email)

4. You could publicly share this post on your Facebook profile so that other pet lovers find out about the opportunity.

Just make sure you do not forget to share it with your pet-loving friends so that more people find out about it. To be completely honest, we initially wanted to pick a cat product and give it away (we wanted to find a cat mat or a cat bed within that budget). However, we weren’t able to tell how we were supposed to do that.

We would like to build a community of cat lovers (and other pet lovers, too), and that’s why our main focus isn’t to offer the gift card just to anyone out there. We would really enjoy giving it to someone who might use the funds to buy something nice for their pet.

Note: This is not a post on how to enter Amazon giveaways in general. It’s specifically made for people who love pets and who would want to get the chance to win a $15 gift card from us. This post will be updated every month and will include the name of the winners. We will announce each on the 20th of every month.

Important information

In case you are elected the winner, all that we’ll require will be your Amazon.com account email (the email address that you use to log into your account) because that’s where we’ll send you the gift card.

Why are we doing this? 

Our dream is to build a community of cat lovers (and other pet lovers). You can unsubscribe to our emails at any time. We do not collect any type of personal information whatsoever and we won’t ever spam you. We hate spam, and we’ve been there — we’ve all gotten too much useless email and we’ve all unsubscribed from newsletters in the past. We get that. You can always update your blog subscription preferences and get fewer newsletters from us.

We organize this giveaway every month. The winner is chosen at random. We will contact the winner by email. If we don’t receive a reply in a matter of 72 hours after the winner has been announced, we will pick another winner.

We would absolutely love it if you used the gift card to buy something nice for your pet. In the future, it’s likely that we will organize giveaways with actual pet products, but we haven’t figured out how to do that just yet.

Here are some suggestions of products that you could get your cat if you’re the lucky winner.

What’s better than something really, and we mean, really entertaining for your cat? What we like about this one is that it comes with not one, not two, but three colorful balls, and they are virtually unbreakable and impossible to take out of the system.

Besides, there’s the advantage that this one comes with a non-slip base, so it will remain in the same place you put it. We definitely know how some cats can get a little too enthusiastic about their ‘prey’ when they play. This one won’t tip over or move around no matter the spot you place it in.

We’ve gone through this with our cat, Meowie, too, and that’s because boy, can the litter stink! With this cat litter disposal system, all you have to do is scoop the waste, open the lid, and then just drop the clumps and pull the handle. Once the system is locked, there is no smell going out.

The odor control in this product is truly impressive, since it can be used with a refill for as many as ten weeks. The pail can hold up to fourteen days worth of cat litter, so you can take the trash out every two weeks or so. We like it because it’s easy to use, convenient, and you can always hide it in a cabinet if you have people coming over.

Now this one we have chosen especially because Meowie is just that – a little overweight. She also has a bit of trouble with her digestion, what with her having longer hair than your regular cat. She’s spayed, so that’s the explanation behind her weight problems, but we’ve noticed that she also eats more when she’s bored.

We’ve used the IAMS food before and it has done wonders in one respect – it has helped her with her hairballs. Meowie often behaves like a dog, meaning that she’ll eat until she can’t breathe and while she won’t specifically beg for food, she will gobble everything up. That’s why we feed her wet food in the morning and then wait for one to one and a half hours before giving her the dry one, too. This one has worked on our cat, so maybe it will do the same for others.

This is precisely the gift we had in mind when we organized the giveaway. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find a method for giving away the product per se (unless we would have access to the winner’s wishlist and buy it for them after he/she would have added it to the list) so that’s why we opted for the gift card, after all.

This cat bed is portable and lightweight, it’s round (so it will naturally ‘cuddle’ your cat‘s already round and ‘pettable’ body, and it comes with a non-skid bottom, so it’ll remain in the same place even on hardwood or tile floors. It’s equipped with a heat-reflecting technology, which is why it will keep your pet warm – and we all know how much cats love warmth.

Catit Senses 2.0 Digger for Cats

Last, but definitely not least, we have this fun ‘automatic feeder meets cat toy’, which comes with several tubes that are capable of stimulating your feline buddy’s pawing behavior. It’s an amazing option to use for either kibble or treats, but the truth is that it will make a mess, so you’d better be prepared to clean up after your cat has a bit of fun.

While the tubes are quite easy to clean, some cat parents might feel like it might make more sense to go for another type of toy. Nevertheless, this can make a good option for those of you who tend to spend a lot of time outside of the house at work or at school. No cat enjoys being bored, so this device can help in this sense.
